We want to thank everyone for joining us on Saturday night! Of course the evening went too quickly, but we loved every minute of the ceremony and reception! We are attributing the amazing night to being surrounded by love, a great venue, and so many people giving us the gifts of support, words, and music.

We are very excited to be only 18 days away from the wedding day! And we are even more excited that 170 of our friends and family will be together at the Minneapolis Central Library for our celebration of love and marriage. We look forward to seeing you on February 13! New Venue: Minneapolis Central Library

When you last checked our blog, you may have noticed that the links to our former wedding location disappeared. Unfortunately, that warehouse space had some building code violations (better now than in February!), and we needed to select a new venue. To reflect our shared love for books and public spaces in the City, we've chosen the Minneapolis Central Library as the location of our wedding ceremony and reception! We believe the tall atrium will be a beautiful space for our celebration and think our guests will appreciate the attached underground parking ramp on a winter night. The Library is located at 3rd Street South & Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. Click here for directions.

We are recommending two options for hotel accommodations:

The Westin Minneapolis
A beautiful renovation of the historic Farmer's & Mechanics Bank Building located 3 blocks from the library and 1 block from light rail (direct from the airport) with pool, fitness center, and restaurant on-site. Traditional king room rate of $89/night. Overnight valet parking is $28/night or park in the public ramp across the street for $5/day on weekends. TownePlace Suites Minneapolis
Located 8 blocks from the Library, a great place to stay if you prefer to have a kitchen in your room. One room suite rate of $69/night or two room suite for $99/night. Overnight parking is $10. For reservations call 1.800.257.3000 and ask for the Ness/Colburn Wedding block rate by January 22.
